MICRONEEDLING PRE AND POST CARE

PRE TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS :

Before a chemical peel facial treatment, it’s essential to prepare your skin by avoiding exfoliating products, retinoids, and sun exposure for at least a week or 7-10 days. Hydrating your skin and consulting with your skincare professional about your specific skin type and concerns is also recommended. After the treatment, you should keep your skin moisturized and avoid sun exposure, heavy makeup, and vigorous exercise for a 48-72 hours or a few days. It's crucial to apply a broad-spectrum 50+ SPF daily to protect your newly sensitive skin and follow any specific aftercare instructions provided by your skincare professional to ensure optimal healing and results.

Schedule this treatment at a time when minor swelling or peeling will not disrupt your social obligations.

3 Days Before Treatment:

Do not bleach, wax, tweeze or use depilatory creams in the treatment area.

Discontinue use of retinoid (Retin A, Tazorac, Differin, etc.) and Hydroquinone products. Discontinue use of 10% or higher Alpha Hydroxyl Acids, Glycolic Acids, and exfoliants.

PRE TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

Before a microneedling treatment, it's important to avoid blood thinners, retinoids, and sun exposure for at least a week to minimize the risk of irritation and complications. After microneedling, your skin may be red and sensitive, so it's vital to avoid direct sunlight, harsh products, and strenuous exercise for at least 48 hours. Keeping your skin well-moisturized and using a gentle cleanser is essential, along with applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to protect your skin during the healing process. Follow any specific aftercare guidelines provided by your practitioner for the best results.
